Finally played some Xbox last night. Seth and I jumped onto XBL and tried out the new Burnout Paradise demo. It was fun but nothing like the times we had in Burnout Revenge. Sure, the graphics are better but the feeling of over the top speed just wasn’t there for me. So, we switched over to Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. I don’t think there could be a better compliment to a game devloper then to tell them how you were playing a brand new ‘fresh from the heap’ game only to go back to a faithful standby so that you could really have fun. The fact that SC:PT can still give us that tense feeling while sneaking around or searching for the illusive spy is a true testimont to the solid game design that Ubisoft created.
